Crocodile Trophy 2011 Mountain Bike Race is one of the toughest, in fact maybe even the toughest, multi day mountain bike racing events in the world. The Crocodile Trophy 2011 mountain bike race is a 1200 kilometer ten day race which takes place in Northern Queensland, Australia. The 2011 race runs from October 18 to 27 and this year the features more than 90 riders. They will be subjected to the rainforests and the harsh terrain of this part of Australian outback.
In many ways the start of the Crocodile Trophy 2011 Mountain Bike race was similar to last year's race, with torrential rain playing a major role. On Day 1 the heavens opened up after a two month dry spell.
