Cape to Cape MTB

Cape to Cape MTB 2011 ended on October 23. This Mountain Bike racing event in Western Australia is a four day race which goes from Cape Leeuwin to Cape Naturaliste. Competing in the race where  seasoned Mountain Bike racing athletes like Jason English who so far in 2011 has a 24 hour and marathon National Championship under his belt. Troy Glennan also rode in the event,  Glennan is currently in the top 10 in Australia  for marathon and endurance races. 

The Cape to Cape MTB also included amateurs and recreational riders.  The 2011 Cape to Cape MTB featured 750 riders at the start. Some of the elite athletes used the Cape to Cape as training for the Olympics in London in 2012.
